Accessibility statement

What we have done

• Built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as our target.
• Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio; copper is used for accents and never as the only way to convey meaning.
• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus state and a "skip to content" link.
• Touch targets are at least 44 pixels high.
• Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and the layout works at phone width.
• Animation is minimal and respects the "reduce motion" setting.
• Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.

Known limitations

• We have not yet had this site tested by people who use assistive technology day to day. We intend to before the end of our first year.

Enforcement

As a private company we are not covered by the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018, but we have a duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments, and we take it seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
